Lewis has more than 15 years of experience developing and managing information systems to support compliance with requirements and regulations in the oil and gas industry. Most recently he was the Director of Development and Trainer with Blue Sky Development, an industry leading software and data management company serving the needs of the pipeline industry. Prior to that Lewis spent several years as an IT Specialist for Northern Natural Gas and Enron Corporation.
Lewis has worked in the oil and gas industry for most of his professional career and has hands-on experience with a wide range of related responsibilities, from pipeline design to information technology management. In his role with Blue Sky Development he also programmed and developed several software solutions, such as their Skyline Sheet Generation, Code Mapper, and Web-enabled RowDB applications. He managed a team of developers and was a trainer for Blue Sky applications.
Lewis has achieved professional certifications in numerous technology programs. His expertise includes training and support for CAD/GIS technologies, database management, Pipeline Open Data Standards (PODS), ISO 9000 standards, and business process development for complex oil and gas projects.
