Kevin brings more than 14 years of experience in surveying and GIS for the oil and gas industry. He has hands-on experience with Pipeline Open Data Standards (PODS) compliant centerline data services, GIS analysis, route selection, oil and gas leasing, well locations and field survey project management.
Most recently, Kevin was a Senior GIS Coordinator for Kinder Morgan Pipeline. In that role he acted as the PODS gatekeeper, and was responsible for providing GIS analysis, geospatial problem solving, redline submittals, and data standards for the firm•s 23,000 miles of natural gas pipelines. As a Certified Blue Sky AlignDB operator, Kevin was the as-built data manager for major projects including the 512 mile Midcontinent Express Pipeline and the 142-mile Kinder Morgan Louisiana Pipeline (KMLP).
As Project Manager for SAM, Inc., he is taking a lead role in client development and project management for centerline data services to format and generate all required pipeline information for integrity management. This includes desktop routing, database auditing, feasibility mapping, legacy data integration, asset tracking, and workflow documentation and standards. Kevin brings significant technical and management experience and will be a leading resource serving SAM, Inc.'s oil and gas clients.
