Senior Recruiter - Austin, Texas

The Senior Recruiter will have the opportunity to create and build the Staffing and HR functions from the ground up.   This person will have a “seat at the table” and be a vital member of our senior management team.   The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic growth environment and be able to design, execute and manage the staffing strategy for an industry leader.   The Senior Recruiter owns the hiring process and consults with hiring managers to develop and execute recruitment strategies and tactics for professional/management positions.

The Senior Recruiter:

  • Owns the hiring process.

  • Partners with Hiring Managers to clearly define the accountabilities of the position and candidate success factors. Clearly understands performance needs of the positions and how it contributes to the organization. Outlines expectations for the recruitment process to source and select the best qualified candidate(s)for the position.

  • Presents fully screened and qualified candidates to hiring managers in a timely manner.

  • Develops and executes comprehensive sourcing plans to create candidate pipelines, reduce time to fill and improve candidate quality. Effectively leverages warm leads, contacts and sourced candidates to build a sourcing database for existing or future needs. Keeps contact information updated and establishes relationships with top candidates to develop a strong pipeline.

  • Finds active and passive candidates using proactive sourcing methods, high touch direct sourcing and networking to find top candidates for current and future openings. Uses cold calling, database mining, internet/web searches, professional organizations, personal/functional networks, name generation as well as employee referrals to generate candidate leads.

  • Fosters relationships with active and passive candidates. Understands motivations, needs, and candidate interests; listens and influences candidate decisions. Presents the company and details of the position and sets clear expectations.

  • Coaches and trains Hiring Managers and other stakeholders regarding staffing process to drive consistent candidate selection methods. Sets expectations for all stake holders in the hiring process; gains agreement on schedules and responsibilities.

  • Manages offer process and recommends compensation package. Overcomes typical objections including salary, career growth, counter offers and gains candidates commitment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree Required or equivalent experience required

  • 10+ years of relevant experience with at least 2-3 years in a corporate environment; combination of corporate and retained executive search, boutique search firm and/or agency experience preferred.

  • Leadership qualities and proven track record

  • Experienced in establishing and leading a recruiting function in a large, complex and geographically dispersed enterprise required. It is essential you exude high energy, a passion for your work and the agility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Texas RPLS - Austin, TX 

Minimum 5 years experience required in pipeline projects, proposal/fee development, boundary analysis, topographic, construction, project management, client relations, personnel management and development. Good communication, organizational and supervisory skills, managing complex projects. MicroStation, AutoCAD and Blue Sky experience preferred. Excellent compensation/benefits.

Survey Technician - Austin, TX 

Successful candidate will have 5 years of combined field & office experience in route survey projects, boundary analysis, DTM projects, construction layout, and AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience. Good written and oral communication skills, proven work history, strong work ethic, and team attitude necessary.

GPS, Laser Scanning & Mobile Mapping Technician- Austin, TX 

Successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years (preferably 10 years) of combined field & office experience to include High Definition Scanning, GPS network planning and data collection, GPS post-processing and use of CORS and OPUS. Proficiency with StarNet or Trimble Geomatics Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Cyclone, CloudWorx, and other LiDAR processing software is preferred. A Bachelor degree in Land Surveying is preferred. Experience in mobile mapping is desired but not required.

Survey Party Chief & Instrument Operator - Austin, TX 

Crew Chiefs/Instrument Operators must have experience with total stations, data collectors, levels and GPS receivers for boundary, design, topographic and construction surveys. Require valid Texas Drivers License, background check and drug test.
